One Day to Make a Difference

Mizzou Giving Day is the University of Missouri’s first-ever day-long campaign to raise support from the entire Tiger family. This 24-hour campaign is from noon on March 15 to noon on March 16. Mizzou Giving Day is an exciting initiative to inspire you to support what you love most about Mizzou. Let’s come together and show how Tigers can make a difference!

The University of Missouri faces significant budget challenges. Support from the State of Missouri accounts for only 9.8% of the university’s annual revenue. To remain affordable, Mizzou is committed to keeping its costs low and investing heavily in financial support for students, but we need your support. Gifts made through Mizzou Giving Day help schools, colleges and programs to earn bonus funds to support the transformative student experience, innovative research and community service that ensure MU’s place as a top-tier institution.
You can make your gift online at givingday.missouri.edu or by calling 866-267-7568. You can also call this number for instructions on mailing your gift. Gifts received by mail between March 13 and March 17 count toward Mizzou Giving Day.
There is no wrong place to give! Gifts to multiple designations are encouraged and accepted, possibly earning additional funds for your favorite school, program or initiative at MU. If you do not see a particular fund listed in the drop-down box, you may write in that fund in the “Other” option. For additional giving opportunities not shown on this site, visit Mizzou Give Direct.

Think of Mizzou’s endowment as the university's long-term savings account. The principal is rarely touched but the amount that is distributed each year makes an impact across campus. A robust endowment translates to excellence year after year, regardless of fluctuations in the economy or the level of state support, by allowing us to recruit and retain stellar students and faculty while also investing in interdisciplinary collaboration and state-of-the-art learning environments.
Your support will make Mizzou Giving Day a success. Make sure to tell your friends about this fun and inspiring day for Tigers to make a difference by posting about Mizzou Giving Day — with the hashtag #MizzouGivingDay — on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. On Mizzou Giving Day, participate in our social media challenges to help spread the word.
During Mizzou's first ever 24-hour comprehensive fundraising effort, our alumni and friends made over 3,500 gifts totaling more than $8.3 million. Your generosity was inspiring, and we look forward to this year's opportunity to once again support every area of the university.
